How to use the editor ? Our Interactive Editor is the ultimate accompaniment to our transcription services and helps you to polish your transcription so let's look at some of the main tools available. How to use the shortcuts?
Saving you time is what we're focused on at Happy Scribe. Now that you’ve saved time with your transcription, here are 6 great features to make the editing process even faster and smoother for you. My transcript is blank?
If your transcript is blank, you are probably using an outdated version of Internet Explorer. To get the full experience, we suggest using Chrome, Firefox, Opera or Edge :) Chrome can be downloaded here
How to switch to the Open Dyslexic font?

How to retrieve a past version of my transcript?
What's the Version History? When you use the Happy Scribe editor, your file is automatically saved as you change it. In addition, the different versions of the transcript are saved for you. Are transcripts timecode synchronized?
When you upload the original files, our engines will read the meta-data available and the timecode will be automatically synchronized to the transcript and in the export. You can also adjust the start timecode and frame rate when exporting your file. Click here to watch how to change the starting timecodes of your file.
How to realign the audio and the text?
After you have edited your file, the words may no longer align with your audio or video file. By realigning your file, we will adjust the time-code of each word. To do this : Click on Timecode to the right side of the menu bar. Click on Align Audio & Text
How to change the starting timecode?
If you are working in video production or post-production, you may want to change the starting timecode of your file. Click on the Timecode button on the bottom-right of the screen.
